Kids Club
Make after-school plans now for your 4K through 4th-grade children. The Kids Club Program, sponsored by Cumberland Community Education, is an after-school enrichment, recreational, and leisure time program at the Cumberland Elementary School. The program is open from 3:20 until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on regular school days for children in the Cumberland District. Kids Club will not be available on non-school days or early release days. This service is for parents whose children need supervision after school. Activities will include games, creative play, arts and crafts, tutoring, special events, projects, and a wide variety of other enrichment and fun activities.
Activities will include games, creative play, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of other enrichment and fun activities. We try to be outside whenever possible. Please make sure your student is dressed accordingly.
Kids Club will provide:
Caring supervision by a qualified adult
A safe, healthy, and comfortable environment
A consistent group of playmates
A wide variety of wholesome activities
A healthy, nutritious snack
Lots of fun!
This service will NOT be available on non-school days, snow days, or early-release snow days. The 5:30 p.m. closing time is NOT optional. We expect all children to be picked up by that time.
Families will be charged $3.00 per child for each night. The price will be the same regardless of the time the child/children are in attendance. We will accept cash or check, but would appreciate it if payments are made through the Cumberland School District online e-Funds account.
