🏃♂️ CMS is proud to have 27 dedicated runners representing our cross country team this season, ranging from 5th through 8th grade! Their hard work, teamwork, and fun at practice are already setting the tone for a great season!! 😊
Practices have been filled with both hard work and fun, from group games like the water balloon towel toss relay to training focused on endurance and pacing.

🎶 Exciting news from our #CSDGoBeavers 6th Grade Band!
They met for the first time as a full group and spent an hour playing together, getting used to the beautiful sound of all their instruments blending! 🎺🥁🎷
Can you believe these beginners started just a couple weeks ago? They've already made tremendous progress, learning how to properly assemble their instruments and mastering their first six notes! 🎵
They can’t wait to play again as a full group when school begins soon. Let’s give them a big round of applause for their hard work and enthusiasm! 👏

They kicked off the day hiking through Interstate Park, soaking in river views and peeking into ancient potholes. Their next stop - the fish hatchery, where they got an up-close look at how trout are raised! 🐟 After that, hey explored the bold and creative world of Franconia Sculpture Park where there were so many unique pieces!
And of course… they couldn’t end the adventure without some well-deserved ice cream! 🍦😋

Watching these incredible young leaders cheer each other on and give their best was nothing short of inspiring. Whether they won gold or simply gave it their all, every camper left today a champion.

🎶 Four talented Cumberland students spent the past week at UW–Eau Claire participating in the WSMA State Honors Project, rehearsing alongside some of Wisconsin’s top high school musicians! 👏
🎤🎺 Nadia Benson and Willow Franc represented Cumberland in the Mixed Choir, while Andrew Carlson and Cash Daniels performed with the band.
The week wrapped up with a powerful “Work in Progress” concert, showcasing all their hard work and musical growth. 🎵 Way to go, #CSDGoBeavers musicians!!
👩🍳 Our little bakers turned into pasta pros in summer school!
They rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make dough from scratch, then created not one, but TWO delicious flavors of ravioli and some picture-perfect tortellinis! 👏
