Majewski Gains All-Conference Basketball First Team
Cumberland Senior Troy Majewski has been named to the Heart of the North First Team All-Conference Basketball Team by the Conference Coaches. The Beavers finished 4 and 14 in HON play and 4 and 21 overall, but Majewski was one of several Beaver players enjoying strong seasons, nevertheless.
A solid ball handler and passer, Majewski was needed to score more this winter and he did at 13.1 points per contest, while his all-around performance included 4.6 assists and three rebounds a game. A fierce competitor, the Cumberland senior helped the Beavers stay competitive in conference action despite their limited wins and he graduates after being a key performer on last year’s Conference Championship team.
Majewski joins six other players on First Team including two from St. Croix Falls and one from Northwestern, who shared the Conference Title with 15 and 3 HON records.
