Northwest Icemen’s Season Ends in Hayward
The Northwest Icemen saw their season come to an end last week following a 7-2 loss to the Hayward Hurricanes in the WIAA Tournament opener in Hayward. The team finishes with a record of 5 and 18. Hayward went on to play Ashland in the D2 Sectional on Tuesday, February 24.
Cumberland’s Gavin Lehmann had one of the Icemen’s two goals in the contest, giving him three goals and four assists on the year. Colton Gramberg and Elija Jain were also part of this year’s squad with Gramberg scoring three goals and an assist in his freshman season.
