Our most recent show was entitled "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and showcased the band's ability to tackle ambitious music and storytelling on the field.

The Cumberland High School Choir brings together students who love to sing, perform, and make music together. Through a wide range of repertoire, from classical and choral standards to contemporary and show tunes, choir members build strong vocal skills, musicianship, and confidence on stage.

Throughout the year, the choir performs at school concerts and community events, sharing their music with families and friends across the district. Coming up soon, the choir will present a Broadway Showcase in the new Endeavor Commons, featuring favorite songs from the Broadway stage. It’s a great chance to see our singers shine in a fun, high-energy evening of music.

Whether singing in a full ensemble or stepping into the spotlight for a solo, Cumberland’s choir students show what teamwork, dedication, and a love of music can create. Go Beavers!

The Cumberland Drama Club gives students the chance to explore the world of theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes. Members take part in acting, stage crew, set building, costumes, lighting, scenic painting, and makeup artistry, learning how every role comes together to bring a story to life.

This year, the Drama Club is making two changes to its program. It will produce two shows: Broadway Showcase, a combined Choir and Drama event, and a spring musical, Anastasia, in the new Endeavor Commons. This story of mystery, adventure, and self-discovery follows a young woman searching for her past.

The Drama Club is also now open to both middle and high school students, and 5th-8th graders are welcome to audition for the spring musical.

The Drama Club welcomes students of all experience levels, from first-time performers to seasoned stage veterans. It’s a place to be creative, build confidence, and be part of a close-knit team. Students interested in auditioning can contact Mrs. Schallock for more information.
