Cumberland Volleyball Names Award Winners
Coach Erin Miller and her staff have announced the Volleyball Award winners for the 2025 season. They include Senior Alexis Peterson, who was named to the HON Honorable Mention list as a Middle Blocker.
Peterson was the lone Cumberland player to receive All-Conference recognition. Barron, who has qualified for this weekend’s State Tournament, led the First Team honorees with three players making the squad. Peterson was also honored as the team’s Co-MVP with Junior Raegan Beecroft.
Coach Miller praised Peterson for receiving All-Conference recognition, while thanking the entire team for, “Working hard to improve and coming to play every night.”
Other Varsity award winners include, Lauren McCreary as “Most Improved,” Sara Roff, who was chosen for the “Hustle Award,” and Raegan Beecroft, who won the “Heart of the Team,” to go with her “Co-MVP Award.”
The Team further recognized players at the JV level. “From our Dig Pink Night to every contest we played, these girls made this year an enjoyable one for our coaches,” concluded Miller.
